Why We Like ‘Good, Old-Fashioned’ Direct Mail, Too!
On his Duct Tape Marketing blog, marketing expert and author John Jantsch writes, “With all the chatter about inbound marketing and social media, it’s easy to overlook some… ways to round out your entire plan with some good, old-fashioned, hand-to-hand direct mail.” We couldn’t agree more.

Yes, these days we’re having fun blogging, tweeting and attracting attention to our businesses. But, we can’t forget about the power and effectiveness of direct mail and how it can help us round out our marketing plans.

In a previous blog post, we wrote about
how direct mail can deliver ROI (return on investment). Jantsch and others are writing about the advantages of direct mail, too, and we agree with and like Jantsch’s recommendations for direct mail success today. He writes, “The secret to making an advertising or direct mail campaign work these days is to think small, think personal, think value, think follow-up.”
