Commercial Printing Services and Today’s Technology: Perfect Together!

A few months ago we wrote “Believe in the Future of Print: ‘Paper is Truly Sustainable…’” and we still believe this to be true today, even though technology continues to advance at a rapid pace.

More technology doesn’t mean the end of print media. It just means that print media needs to be combined with online media to take advantage of the new technology and communication channels. Additionally, our print media efforts need to acknowledge that the online communication media exist. For example, look at some of the new advertisements containing QR codes in newspapers and magazines. (For more information about QR codes, read another of our blog posts,
“Do you know what a QR code is?...”)

Commercial printing will continue to co-exist with online publishing media and technology. Smart marketers will always see the advantages of using print media to reinforce their companies’ messages. Direct mail, newsletters, and the printed page, in general, will not go away. In fact, they will continue to enhance a company’s marketing efforts, making more impressions to the right people at the right time.

As an experienced commercial printer, IOP Communications embraces the new technology available to all of us today. We use our blog and other social media to reach out to our customers and prospects. But, we also know the importance and value of the printed message. We believe that commercial printing services and today’s technology are perfect together. Do you agree?

Until next time, thanks for reading, and take care!

Sincerely,
Mike DeNofa
